FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Where are you based? - I am currently based in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Do you travel? - Yes! I love to travel to new places & utilize new locations for shooting. If your shoot is outside of the Bismarck/Mandan area a travel fee of $0.75 per mile will be added. Anywhere outside of surrounding North Dakota States flying would be preferable. For flight travel I require a two way ticket to your shoot & back. If the shoot is more than 4 hours away, hotel or lodging will be required for the day prior & the day of the shoot.

When will I receive my images? - My average turn around time for most shoots is about 2 weeks & weddings are close to 8 weeks.

How will I receive my final images? - You will receive an online gallery filled with all your final images. Prints can be ordered directly from the online gallery provided.
Weddings Packages will receive a handmade wood box filled with some 4x6 prints of my personal favorites & a usb flash drive with all the final images.  

I need some images right away, is there anyway I could get a couple rushed?  - OF COURSE! If you need a image quickly because your year book deadline is right around the corner or you would like to send out thank you cards for your wedding & have a picture of both of you on it. That's no problem! I'm happy to help out, just ask.

Do you shoot same sex couples? - YES! Love is awesome & I would love to capture it between your partner.

Do you need a deposit? - I do require a deposit to hold the date of your session. For an average shoot I require a $100 deposit, for weddings I require a $500 deposit. The deposit does go toward the total cost of the package. This would typically be settled at the consult meeting where we go over all the details.

When do you require the full payment? - I require the remainder of the payment the day of the shoot.

Can I add time? / Can I make the session smaller? - Yeah no problem! Just let me know what you are thinking & we can work out a custom price depending on what you need.

Do you also do video work? - I do! I currently keep my website more photo based, but I do offer wedding video packages & other video needs by request. To get more details feel free to email me bwhempstead@gmail.com.

I typically like to meet up & get coffee in person if possible, I'm buying of course! This helps me get a good understanding of what you are looking for & gives us an opportunity to meet & get comfortable before you are in front of the camera. If you would rather speak over the phone just let me know, and I will give you a call as soon as I can.
